We established our business in order to source and supply high quality composite decking products without compromise. We work directly with the manufacturers, sell direct to customers and keep our business lean in order to provide you the customer with the best value possible.

I focus myself and my team to provide a personal, flexible and direct service to ensure customers are 100% happy with their purchase.

Who is the team at Sun Decking?

Hi! Neil is our ‘Composite Decking Guru’ and looks after general business and product quality. He is the one to call if you want to know all the geeky details about decking. Heather manages our administration and finance, and Gillie supports our marketing efforts. Mitchell does a great job of managing our stock and deliveries. We are all quite ‘out of the box’ people having worked and travelled extensively in the world and genuinely enjoy meeting and talking to our customers every day.

Where do we operate?

We supply composite decking across Queensland and east coast Australia. We are based in Brisbane and deliver personally across Brisbane, Gold Coast into northern NSW and up into the Sunshine Coast. We deliver further afield using trusted reliable and affordable freight providers.

What is composite decking?

We’ve outlined the benefits of composite decking on our advantages page. In short, composite decking is a mix of plastic and wood with more benefits than traditional decking. It lasts longer, needs minimal cleaning maintenance, and is resistant to moisture, heat, and termites. There is no sealing required, ever, and it lasts between 20 – 30 years, while traditional wood decking will often last only 10 – 15, with yearly maintenance.

How do you keep composite decking prices low and quality high?

We source our products efficiently and to ensure we work with a few long-standing and quality-focused manufacturers (not just on paper, the attitude). Our business cuts out all the cost adding processes and steps typical of high-cost providers. In short, we purchase composite decking diligently from our manufacturers and trade directly to our customers with as few costs as possible in that journey.

How long to deliver your composite decking boards?

We have the boards in stock and can usually deliver within our region (250km from our warehouse in Brisbane) within a few days. Further afield requires a week to schedule freight delivery.

Do you have an installed deck we can view?

We have all our stocks in Brisbane, and you are welcome to visit by arrangement to view our stocks. We have the Elite™ capped decking as well as the Classic™ WPC for you to see and is a great way to understand what the board looks like when laid.
